I went to see the new 007 movie today by myself as I tried to kill some time from my rather uneventful Sunday in Beijing. I must say the this 007 movie and the last are so different from the previous ones. This one is seriously lacking some usual element like the cool gadgets. Bond does have a SonyEricsson phone in the movie that dubs as many other thingsd but it’s hardly all that cool.

And then there’s the lack of hot chicks… Sure the lead female role, Olga Kurylenko, is hot. But there’s nothing beyond that. And for God’s sake, Bond didn’t even do her!!! And frankly I still feel James Bond is a pretty boy and not a manly man. Daniel Craig just isn’t Bond for me…

Overall, this movie is a dud for me. I wasn’t engaged. Luckily movie tickets in Beijing cost 60RMB, which is less than they do in shanghai…
